CORRECTION: Custom Swim Caps

Attention Farmstead Swim Team Families:

Below is a NEW order form for Farmstead Custom and Plain swim team caps. There are some changes on the form from the first form we posted:

-the prices are different

-you can only pay by check now

-forms should be brought to registration night or dropped off at Debbie LeBeau’s house, 921 Canyon Run Road – not brought to The Swim Team Store

Since sending out our last form, The Swim Team Store has changed their prices and policies. Sorry for this inconvenience. Obviously we have been working with them for months to plan our offering for the season, and these last minute changes came as a complete surprise to us. Please disregard the original form. Please use this form to order swimsuits and other apparel (sweatshirts, flannel pants, etc). Orders must be received by April 27th. Instructions are on the form.

Cancellation Policy

Just a quick reminder of the Farmstead Swim Team policy on dealing with the ever-changing, lovely Chicago weather! Our goal, when safely possible, is to complete practices and full meets.  A full meet is through the Fly events.  Please be aware that these decision are made in the best interest of the swimmers.

Practice/meet cancellations will be made as soon as possible. You will receive an email confirming the cancellation.  Never assume a practice/meet is cancelled.

The official air temperature for a cancelled practice or meet is 60 degrees.

Rain doesn’t necessarily mean a meet or practice is cancelled.

Swimmer safety is always our first priority.  Heavy rain, lightening, etc. will be cause for a meet/practice cancellation.

Practices:  Have your swimmer come to practice each day on time (5 minutes early) and ready to swim.  Parents are strongly encouraged to stay off of the pool deck so that the coaches can do their job.  If you need to speak to a coach about something, please do so after practice.   If possible, please speak to your child’s coach via email.  They will get back to you within 24 hours.
